From the mellifluous sound of its V-12 engine to the much-copied scissor doors, the Murciélago is the archetypal Italian exotic. It always draws a crowd, and it has the performance to warrant the attention. The ragtop version has a cheap-looking cloth roof, but owners are unlikely to care as the rest of the car can make one weak in the knees. For something so blisteringly quick and entertaining to drive, the Murciélago is surprisingly refined and easy to live with, too.
